and now I want to play old school rpgs all night. DAMN YOU! only complaint is I think it would work better if it was a loop and maybe make the bass kick a tiny bit louder. cool shit though for the genre.

re upload that shit

dude, this is too good to be zero bombed. re upload this mother fucker right now before I am forced to kill you haha.

highdrake responds:

reuploaded. thanks for the kind words. check your youtube messages i wanna do a remix to one of your songs.

wow

I really like the ambient effect you have going on, and the drums actually sound about right for this kinda song. this reminds me of playing something like alien vs predator. the piano sounded very nice with the re verb effect added onto it. overall a nice piece.

Warhector responds:

Thanks man :) gritty drums with vanilla sauce pianos!

lol jeeze ed. your best song yet?

haha just kidding, funny remix though. something tells me this needs a music video, with some awesome explosions going on in the background of course. lol good ear btw getting the right notes and all to match his pitch, even if you don't have much to work with anyways.

not bad dude.

even though the end just kinda stops, it actually is a cool pause to make it loop well. the bass kick sounds pretty nice here. i would try editing the actual "wah wah" sound a bit though. i know it's based off of video games and you have this sorta chip tune thing going on, which i think mixing chiptune with dubstep is a pretty awesome idea that you should role with, I feel as if the wah wah sounds a bit "too" 16 bit. the wah is the part that stands out the most so you want it to sound perfect.

also, i would try maybe adding a few more instruments, like maybe some sustaining violins at 1:56 would be cool if it followed the same sorta pattern as the bass line that you got going in the background.

remix's are sweet dude, but i think to really stand out you should try making a chip step original. look up the artist "she", pretty good chiptune music.

overall, pretty nice piece, just gotta not upload when zero bombers are on haha.

something tells me...

that I am suppose to blaze up SUPER MUCH to this haha. like the ambiance and the video game like lead in the beginning pretty cool. although with the stops it felt like a train sorta de-railing, not really good for the mojo vibe, but when the bass came in at 104 it was AWESOME haha.

EricFreeman responds:

I'm glad you like it. :D

I'm not so sure what you mean by "stops"?

And while I don't advocate the use of drugs in any way, I'm sure it would definitely help a lot ;)

sonic anyone..?

or any other cool sega like game soundtrack. i clicked this cuss i thought my track nightmare got into the top 30 so I was like YES! haha this is still pretty tight though. i bet you this will be used in a flash game sometime soon in the future.

ChronoNomad responds:

That would be exceptionally cool, and I have an inkling that someone may already have a mind to use it in a Flash animation in the not-so-distant future. I haven't played a ton of Sonic the Hedgehog, but to hear this in any game would be truly wicked. Well...as long as the game didn't suck, that is. Oh, and if you're a Sonic fan you might want to check out my cover mix of Splash Hill Zone Act 3. :)

Incidentally, I had almost forgotten that this was the day those lists get updated! It's too bad we don't have both our 'Nightmare' tracks in there together because that would have been awesome. You're still there in the Top 30, though!

uh.... this is all loops...

wtf, and you get a shit ton of plays, i can understand maybe one or two loops, but this is basically all loops. also, that bass is WAY to loud. i bet if you didn't make flash vids this wouldn't even exist. dude I am sorry, but i am going to have to agree that it's unfair how high your score is for something that is composed of soundtrack pro and garageband loops like this. i love your flash but damn dude. as an artist i can understand the pain that it is to hear something like this and see how many plays and downloads it has.

then again, with the title I am assuming you did this as a joke. thus the 3 stars.

good stuff man, btw, do you have a tutorial...

for that deadmau5 sound? see, I have the older version of sylenth1 and I know the tutorials are all for the newer version (at least I think they are) and I have been wanting to make ambient house SOOOOOO bad lately haha. btw, nice piece, i feel like you had on a few extra seconds at the end when it faded out, but other than that a pretty solid piece of work.

Decibel responds:

I Don't use sylenth, it's basically a blend of sytrus and Z3ta+, Besides, I vary a lot and always different sounds and stuff.
Besides my Sylenth is broken so I can't make sounds myself..

I'm glad you like it though, feel free to fave me and stuff =P
