I actually liked the intro

I felt it blended well when the rest of the song came in. the reverb worked really well to. have to say, it felt kinda repetitive but then again alot of trance music is like that. it is indeed rather pro and I have to say although this isn't my style that I am normally into I could see that it could be mixed well if used in a club atmosphere haha.

I hope this review has been helpful. most of my stuff is abit.... different... but I'm starting to get into the dark hard techno kinda thing.

djInTheDark responds:

I definitely did try to avoid being repetitive, I will say though. It's something that I usually concentrate a lot on, but for this one I got lazy and didn't use any brain power to dwell on it. And everybody has a style and an anti-style, you'd be crazy if you didn't. So I'm thank full that you've pointed out to me that this song was good enough to appeal ever so slightly to the outer reaches of the listening community. Which is more helpful than you know.

Also, don't let it get to you about the 0-bombers. Happens to the best of us. Use it as a tool to make your music better. Because if it's good enough, even a group of bored, jealous spammers (aka the 0-bombers, in this case) won't be able to stop the song from getting the publicity it deserves.

Thanks for the review!

to quiet

needs to be louder mate. it's still an interesting piece, it's just WAY to quiet of a piece, otherwise it would be a cool little chiptune song.

RupertCalding responds:

Oh, sorry, man, haha I saved the actual song with the main volume down because I was using my headphones and forgot to fix it back...look forward to a louder version tomorrow :D

love the drums

duh duh duh duh duh duh du dum. haha so awesome and oldschool, this deffinetly has the epic sci fi ness about it. and yeah it was calming but I was hoping there would be more to this. was just TOO calming for me to be honest. still a great track though.

durn responds:

heh, yeah, I used to listen to a shit-ton of trance so if it has an oldschool feel it's cause I haven't listened to much new trance since like 2004. :D and yep, slow and steady wins the race, no point gettin' worked up over life. best to stay calm! ;) thanks for the honest review, incher!

I think that this is more

of a dubstep track than a video game track. I like the ambiance sorta feeling that it has. and it's just short enough to where it can be a loop without really having to go anywhere. pretty clever dude.

Zoombip responds:

I see where you're coming from as it does have a slight dubstep feel to it. This is probably because my rack setup consists of synths that i used to use for trying my hand at dubstep. most synths were altered to give it a more ambient feel as i didnt want to go strictly down the dubstep route, as i suck at proper dubstep, not my forté if you will :P

anyways, i thank you for your review, have a nice day :)

it's really calming

just wish there was more going on. seems to only be a melody and some drums and static in the background. I could imagine that piano line under another instrument or an even more powerful piano. still nice little background music though.

SkatingIsGenetic responds:

Haha, cool cool. This is basically the intro. The melody doesn't come in until later in this track.

I'm hoping to find time to finish.

fuck awesome drum lines holy shit

this song equals bassy orgasim goodness oh man. i bet if I put this in my friends car with his subs bass all the way up his neighbors house would explode haha. fucking sweet dude. 5/5.

fyat66 responds:

lol thanks

watch as i try and dance and play

tetris at the same time.... damn it, your song is to catchy for me to concentrate.

Therm0 responds:

Why thank you. :]
Looks like some jealous 0-bombing fag is at it again or something, that sucks. Oh well. At least I have people who like my music like you. :D

was cool but needed more boom

that beat is cool, except not for an entire song. also, I felt like if this had more of a boom to it than it would have more of a pressence rather than just a son that feels like it is building the whole time but doesn't actually reach what it is suppose to.

Spartanblu responds:

Thank you, exactly what i was looking for
