pretty awesome haha.

although its a dead on cover so I can't give you a 10. favorited though.

thanks for the reference

this piece is pretty cool. has some nice poppy goodness. and that bass is fucking epic. did you use something other than the fruity kick and compression? cuss i have to know how you made it sound like that. it's so epic.

MazinMark responds:

Haha thanks man! I made it with layering kicks, lots of compression, EQing and reverb.

damn this is a chill piece.

im usually into the more upbeat stuff, but i gotta say the relzxing ness of this piece was pretty great dude.

MazinMark responds:

Thanks bro and since you like upbeat you should check out my Paint the Sky song. It would be perfect for you

damn, this is pretty tight dude.

loved the intro, and the rest of the piece was well put together. you could deffinetly rave it up to this mate. and it even sorta wnet into a hardstyle kinda beat which i thought was really well done.

dude wtf this is amazing

and your voice is auto tuned so people can't even tell. but yeah, this is fucking awesome dude. once again as you stated the voice is a little quiet but still, fucking awesome. did you do the mix and stuff to or did you get it from somwhere else? and if you did and you used fl studio could you send me that? I wanna know what synths and shit you used.

wilb0b responds:

Lol I use mac's Logic express 8 and it's autotune built in the AU

And everything is made by me beats, synths, pads, and mixing. tweaking the interface to how I like it. Lots of work but great results! And it has it's own mastering capability so I don't clip too much also, that's a huge help. If u listen to my old stuff you'll notice I didn't learn about the mastering till about a year ago lol

good for an intro

but it sounds a little to distorted with the piano, it would be cool as an intro though if it was to be cleaned up after the first dirty entrance.

MeatSlurry responds:

will try that, thanks

wow

that sounds beautiful, granted, the quality could be better as i often here little staticy sounds when ever it switches to something different.

was a little slow in the beginning...

but it picked up rather well when the drum parts came in. really got my head bobbing. I felt the outro could have been done better but either than that this was a pretty good song.

Sandwhich-lord responds:

Yeah i sort of got fed up at the end and used some lazy tricks it won't happen again .. i hope.. thanks for the review

I actually liked the intro

I felt it blended well when the rest of the song came in. the reverb worked really well to. have to say, it felt kinda repetitive but then again alot of trance music is like that. it is indeed rather pro and I have to say although this isn't my style that I am normally into I could see that it could be mixed well if used in a club atmosphere haha.

I hope this review has been helpful. most of my stuff is abit.... different... but I'm starting to get into the dark hard techno kinda thing.

djInTheDark responds:

I definitely did try to avoid being repetitive, I will say though. It's something that I usually concentrate a lot on, but for this one I got lazy and didn't use any brain power to dwell on it. And everybody has a style and an anti-style, you'd be crazy if you didn't. So I'm thank full that you've pointed out to me that this song was good enough to appeal ever so slightly to the outer reaches of the listening community. Which is more helpful than you know.

Also, don't let it get to you about the 0-bombers. Happens to the best of us. Use it as a tool to make your music better. Because if it's good enough, even a group of bored, jealous spammers (aka the 0-bombers, in this case) won't be able to stop the song from getting the publicity it deserves.

Thanks for the review!

to quiet

needs to be louder mate. it's still an interesting piece, it's just WAY to quiet of a piece, otherwise it would be a cool little chiptune song.

RupertCalding responds:

Oh, sorry, man, haha I saved the actual song with the main volume down because I was using my headphones and forgot to fix it back...look forward to a louder version tomorrow :D
